New Business Sales Executive

Location: Canary Wharf, London, E14 9SH

Type: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Up to £32,000 + double OTE bonus + private healthcare + pension

About the role:

This is a 100% New Business role and the right candidate will be required to generate organic and warm leads, which they then prospect and convert into maturing business. Target customers will be both Corporate, Direct Employers and Recruitment Agencies with a monthly/quarterly sales target to achieve against

You will be experienced in or have knowledge of:

  • Generating leads
  • Efficiently keeping in regular contact with existing prospects and clients
  • Presenting to senior decision makers (HRD's, MD's and CEO's)
  • Understanding and keeping up-to-date with constant developments in all relevant industries
  • Identifying areas for expansion and development within your base
  • Developing a targeted long-term new business strategy to also encompass regional and international businesses
  • Weekly meetings and 1x1's with your line manager
  • Delivering against set targets and expectations
  • Collaborating across internal departments
  • Updating activity and pipeline within a CRM (experienced with Salesforce is helpful but not essential)
  • Maximising networking opportunities
  • Occasionally attending conferences, events and trade shows to increase awareness and build relationships

Salary and Compensation:

Working at CareerBuilder / Jobmedic, you will receive a competitive basic salary ranging between £25,000-£32,000 basic (depending on experience) with double OTE bonus. Requirements - Essential:

Minimum 2/3 years' experience within Business Development/New Business or Account Management role (face-to-face experience imperative; experience within the media, recruitment and communications world preferred)

Self-starter who is target driven and motivated

Excellent communication and presentation skills (telephone, written and face-to-face)

Consultative sales skills: requires a balance of soft sell approach and hard sell closure

Excellent time navigation, an individual who thrives on working autonomously without micro-management

Experience working in a recruitment agency, media environment, creative agency or human capital management (HCM) organisation and or exposure to recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS)

Understanding of (and passion for) the recruitment and hiring process along with industry knowledge
